ZASLPKIO EASLLGLA Last night I had the idea to make games more compatible with the NES Power Glove, for better or for worse. I was binge watching Gaming Historian videos (I rarely do this in general these days) and I was upset that Novac's games weren't released as Power glove exclusive titles. I soon raised the same point on Twitter soon after with the idea to make games work better using the device. Super Mario Bros. is the first test subject and it works. Well, at least without completely rewriting the physics engine (I could do it but it wouldn't work on hardware without a flashcart, and who has the time?) So, I came up with a solution to make Mario controllable anywhere using the A button, or if you're using the Power Glove, make a fist and release to drop Mario. Mario's Y position is controlled by the Power Glove's internal setting for each game it is supposedly supporting backwards-compatible control. Using two byte changes, this is a really a remarkable fleet considering I did it in 8:12 minutes. Unfortunately I do not have an NES Power Glove to do further testing and codes. This is all based on limited experience with how the Power Glove operates and understanding how it interfaces and reacts to physics. Basically, just add 6 zeros to what the item was worth. So if an item was worth 100 points, now it's worth 100,000,000 points. Actually, what this code does, is add 4 more zeros between the score and the number of coins collected. So the score counter has 12 digits, instead of only 6. The last two digits are really the coin counter, but looks like it's part of the score counter. The code does have one little glitch. On worlds that have a light background (like 1-1), the score is a little hard to see. But on screens with a dark background (like 1-2, coin rooms, etc.), the score shows up just fine. So if you are having trouble seeing the score in the first world (1-1), just go down the tube to the coin room, or loose a life, or finish the level. The score shows up fine in 1-2.

This one is by far very unusual. It doesn't directly affect the stage, but when you kill an enemy it will. When you squash an enemy when its paired with another, it will fly around the screen real fast & land some where else. Most of the time it'll land off screen, but there are times where they land just above you or on you. If you are at a part where you're stuck or it just keeps repeating, don't worry. Just die & then when you start your next life, everything will be back to normal until you kill another enemy.

Here is how to get to the level select screen: When you first start out, you are in a new world (0-1)and you have to finish this level to get to the levelselect screen. Here's how: Swim (yes swim) past thefirst pipe you see and keep going until you see somewater at the bottom of the screen. Swim over the topof the blocks that are above the water, but not toofar. Then swim down and backwards a little to dropdown through the little opening in the blocks thatlets you get to the bottom of the screen. This partis very important because if you aren't at the bottompart of the screen, you won't be able to finish thelevel. Once you get to the lower part of the screen,just keep going to the end of the level. When youget to the end, it will say "Thank You Mario, but ourPrincess is in Another Castle". To get the game tocontinue, you have to press "B". Now your at the"Level Select" screen! Just press "B" until yousee the world you want (at the top of the screen),and then press "Start".
