Thanks to what you posted above about comparing 2 different traces I think I could have done them now.
I believe this is the thread you were speaking of, a very good read.
      http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/16...r-Tutorial!!!!

Some more info for your .txt document:
These 2 games you hacked, but only mentions works for USA systems.
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (J) [The code in your document works for Europe too.]
Surging Aura (J) [The code in your document works for Europe too.]

Your universal codes work for this game.
OutRunners (J) [Universal USA EAAT-BL1T] [Universal Europe EAAT-AL1T]

      ------------

Here's more Japanese games that are region locked and havent been previously hacked, and the universal codes would not work on.

Normally will not work for USA systems:
      Code:
Chameleon Kid (J) [!].bin [Regional Lockout Bypass 006E4C:6006]
Devil's Course 3-D Golf (J) [!].bin [Regional Lockout Bypass 000C32:6008]
      J. League Pro Striker (J) (REV00) [c][!].bin [Regional Lockout Bypass 000332:4E71] (Also works for REV03)

Normally will ONLY work for Japanese systems:
      Code:

Yuu Yuu Hakusho - Makyou Toitsusen (J) [!].bin [Regional Lockout Bypass 003FD4:6000 Must Use With Master Code BVBT-AA3A by Tony Hedstrom]

By the way, I haven't added any of the codes from the .txt file to the database; unless I posted it here and clicked the added button.

These games were listed in your document, but didn't really specify the region; or there were some other notes I had made:
          Code:
Boogerman (E) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Cheese Cat-Astrophe Starring Speedy Gonzales (E) (M4) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Jurassic Park (E) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Megaman - The Wily Wars (E) [Don't Work For USA or Japan] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
          OutRun 2019 (E) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Shining Force II (E) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] (Also works on Japanese systems.)
Shinobi III - Return of the Ninja Master (E) [c][!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] (The code works for a Europe ROM to be played in any region.)
Soleil (E) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] (The code also works on a Japanese console. Also works for (G) and (S) releases.)
Soleil (G) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan]
Soleil (S) [Don't Work For USA or Japan]
Sonic Spinball (E) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Street Fighter II' - Special Champion Edition (E) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Thunder Force IV (E) [c][!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] (Codes work for a Europe cartridge in a Japanese system.)
Virtua Racing (E) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] (Code also allows to work on a USA system.)
Worms (E) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] (Code also allows to work on a Japanese system.)
          X-Men (E) [!] [Don't Work For USA or Japan] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]

And these 2 games from your document, I had problems with; you may want to take a look at:
          Code:
Ren and Stimpy Show, The - Stimpy's Invention (E) [!].bin [Don't Work For USA or Japan]
Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (E) [c][!].bin [Don't Work For USA or Japan]

Final set of European region locked games, that universal codes work with.

This is the final set of European games that your universal codes work with.
Either the .txt document didn't list these, or didn't specify the region, or I had extra notes:

Normally ONLY works on European systems:
            Code:
Brutal - Paws of Fury (E) [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Daze Before Christmas, The (E) [!] (Code in document also works for a Japanese system.)
            Disney's Aladdin (E) [!] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Dragon - The Bruce Lee Story (E) [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
            ECCO - The Tides of Time (E) [!] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
            Eternal Champions (E) [!] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
            Fun-N-Games (E) [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
            Lemmings 2 - The Tribes (E) [!] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
            NHL 95 Elitserien (E) [c][!] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T] [MC 19354A:4E75]
Prince of Persia (E) [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
            Radical Rex (E) [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 (E) [!] (Code in document also works on a Japanese system.)
Star Trek - Deep Space 9 - Crossroads of Time (E) [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
            Sub-Terrania (E) [!] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Toejam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron (E) [!] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Toejam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron (G) [!] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
            Zool (E) [!] [USA EAAT-BL1T] [Japan EAAT-AY1T] [MC 0FFFFE:4E75]
Normally does not work for Japanese systems:
            Code:
            Blood Shot (E) (M4) [!] [Japan EAAT-AY1T]
Region Free, but contains the region screen:
            Code:
Rise of the Robots (E) [!]
Any of these games you can use the following code to show the region screen, regardless of the system it's on:

Are you looking at the newest version (0.9a)? http://codehut.gshi.org/RegionalBypassGG.txt

It's been a while, but I think I fixed the SSF2 code in the 0.9a version. Will look at the Ren & Stimpy code.

EDIT: Here's the updated SSF2 (E) code from ver 0.9a...

Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers...

              JKVT-AA94
Lets you play the (E) cartridge on a US Genesis console (must use master code).

              NA7T-AA9G
Master code (must use this code). Only works on (E) cartridge.

I have been and always use Fusion to test codes.
Thought I was going crazy or something, but decided to try the 2 codes in Gens; and they do indeed work.

Kinda odd that it still shows the region lockout in Fusion but not gens.

Now I'll post Regional Lockout Bypass codes for European ROMs that your universal codes didn't work for, and weren't already hacked.
Hope you don't mind that I've hijacked your thread to this extent Tony. =P
Just thought it's a good idea to have it all in one place.

                  Here's the one's I've hacked so far:
Normally don't work for USA or Japan regions:
                  Code:
Adventures of Mighty Max, The (E) [000350:6000]
                  Art of Fighting (E) [!] [007402:6006]
                  Asterix and the Great Rescue (E) (M5) [c][!] [000514:6002]
Asterix and the Power of The Gods (E) (M4) [!] [000B9C:4E75]
ATP Tour Championship Tennis (E) [0003C4:6000] [Master Code 000436:6014]
                  Australian Rugby League (E) [!] [000336:6000] [Master Code 1EB7FA:4E75]
This next code could be called an emulation fix as well as a Regional Lockout Bypass code.
For whatever reason, both Gens and Fusion 'Auto Detect' this European ROM as being from USA.
Normally don't work for USA or Japan regions:
                  Code:
Back to the Future Part III (E) [!] [00031A:6002]

                    I don't mind at all.

Someone made a file with regional bypass codes for almost every Genesis/MD game, and also included all of the codes from my file. The file is about 99% complete, but the problem is that many of the codes he made were 2 to 5 codes long, when I'm sure that they could have been done with a single code.

All the codes you've made so far are impressive. I can only imagine the time you spent making them.

It's been done before, but not correctly. Your codes are definitely needed.

This next one was already hacked, by Hybrid.
                          But, I don't think it's a good idea to use 66xx or 67xx.
His code does work for USA or Japan systems, but if you were to permanently patch in the code, it would not boot on a Europe system.

So the only thing different to make it region free is the value:
                          Code:
Mega SWIV (E) [Normally don't work for USA or Japan systems] [031530:4E75]
This next game is the second, and final, European game that Fusion and Gens both 'Auto Detect' as a USA ROM.
The code will fix the problem of it not playing with Auto Detect enabled, since it will be region free.

Normally does not work for USA or Japanese systems:
                          Code:
Muhammad Ali Heavyweight Boxing (E) [007268:6000]
