  • (Request) Exile II/Wicked Penomenon (PCE CD, USA) Code

This game uses a more zoomed out view/has smaller sprites than the prequel, which would've helped reduce the cheap hits that were fairly common in the first one, except now the scrolling is even looser. So I'd like to request a code that makes it tighter. Both horizontally and vertically, though I'm not sure by how much.

I'm also wondering, can the PC Engine CD codes on the site be used with Retroarch (Beetle PCE Fast core)? Because it's the only emulator that works with the CD games on the Win10 PC I'm using right now.

RetroArch's Beetle/Mednafen PCE FAST core doesn't support cheats. Not yet, anyway:

    Tough request.

Mednafen supports cheats for PC Engine games, including CD games:

      https://mednafen.github.io/

It's command-line, so if you need a GUI for it, this is the one I think I used before:

      https://sourceforge.net/projects/mednafengui/

I've had it setup before on a previous install. It's not easy to use. The GUI helps. There used to be documentation about the cheat interface online. I can't find it, but I think the documentation for it is included in the download.

I forgot about Bizhawk. It supports cheats for PCE and PCE CD games and is pretty easy to use. This is the version I downloaded a few weeks ago. They're more updated versions, but they require updated versions of Net Framework.

Not to mention the cheat system is all screwed up for game genie for other systems...
PCE and PCE CD should be fine, just remove the F8 at the beginning of each code line.
