I think is completely OK to use cheats (or softwares like pkhex or pksm) to grant access to event items and event pokemon, since these events are currently unobtainable by legit means nowadays and even at the time, you had to live in Japan or USA, or else you would miss at least 90% of them.

I think it is probably fine to generate some pokemon for your personal enjoyment of the game (if you would have fun using a team of shiny, perfect IVs, nature and EVs, using whatever moves you feel like it, go ahead). Also found unlimited cheats at cheat master.

What I think is wrong is genning Pok?mon to trade or battle with people that don't know they're hacked.

Since we're talking about a game that was released almost 20 years ago, I think you should use cheats if you think it will make the game more enjoyable. I will use pkhex to be able to obtain some event pokemon, for my personal collection.

also i appreciate the Codebreaker format,you see i am not that good with raw codes.
i do know that when the 2nd digit is a 3,you are supposed to use a 7 or an 8 in place of the first 0,but i am unsure which one to use half of the time
so long story short it usually takes me some trial and error to get them right

This battle is the only time you get to fight Archie, my friends... however, I must warn you that if you activate the script for Archie's event, you will start over the events that lead to Sootopolis to Sky Pillar. Use this at your own caution and make back-ups in case something goes wrong... talk to someone, wait until they finish and then activate the code and disable it immediately after.
