  • NES Game Genie codes by Cyperium

    My codes for NES. Mostly USA and Japan codes.
    Almost all codes are Game Genie, but some RAM codes exists as well.



    Akumajou Special - Boku Dracula-kun (Japan):

    ASESXIEY + AKESUSIS - Don't die from touching enemies, you don't get pushed.


    More to come, I will also find US versions of some of the better codes in the EUR only thread.

      Akumajou Special - Boku Dracula-kun (Japan):
      UYPNVI + NYPYSS + OZPYKS - Menu fix for Pal systems.
      UYONVSNY + NYOYSSTU + OZOYKISX - Menu fix for Pal system, 8-letter version.

      Menu will be glitched at the water boss of level 3, and gone in the beginning of the ice-level (level 4), it will reappear though just a little bit into the level. Menu will again be gone at the train in level 5 and will reappear when the train stops. Menu will disappear again a bit into level 6 and reappear again when the flying desert snake is gone. It will disappear again at the rolling ball in level 6 and reappear when that is over. It will disappear again at the robot boss of level 8, it will reappear when level 9 starts, and disappear when the miniboss appears and reappears when you've defeated him. It will then disappear again when the floor begins to rise at level 9 and continue that way until you defeat the big robot miniboss. It will disappear again at the final boss until you defeat it.

      The 8-letter version was tested through the game to the end with the issues described (the issues aren't mainly because of the code, but mainly because the game is running on a Pal system, it should be seen as places where the code doesn't fix the issues), the 6-letter version might cause glitches in the game, only tested parts of the first level.

      A positive side-effect is that the title is now seen on the title screen.

        SXVKKEVK - Infinite lives (only works in one player mode).
        ZENGIILE - Start with 9 lives.
        PTESOPIV + YZOIOOZA - Everything is worth 1000 points.


        I tried to see if there was a hidden Continue option on the title screen (as it is a Continue option in Ghosts n Goblins), but selecting anything else than the player selection made it be 2 player mode.

          APOVPEAU - Invincible against enemies and running out of time.
          STESUNON + KYESKNSY - Jump a bit higher.
          STESUNON + GPESKNSY - Jump much higher.
          GAUSSYYA - Slower descent.
          SZXKSOVK - Infinite lives for player one in two player mode (you shouldn't loose more than one life).
          SZKGVOVK - Infinite lives for player two in two player mode (you shouldn't loose more than one life).
          EYVSSYVG + EYNSSYVG - Walk through walls.

            LEVKYLAA + LEOKLKNY - Continue on the stage you were at after game over. Always enables continue cheat without having to press the buttons (the continue cheat is to press B three times while holding right).

            Tried to make a third and fourth option on the start menu, for 1 player continue and 2 players continue, setting the continue variable in a "island" routine, however, the continue variable had to be set before choosing in the menu so that didn't work. There was a lot of color glitches in the menu even if it would work so it wasn't very nice either way. The above code works for both 1 player and 2 players.

            AASIAAAY + AIVGOTEY - Always enable stage select (stage select will occur when you start a stage, and when you loose a life)

              Armana no Kiseki (Japan):
              IZSPZSPO + ITSPGIGA - Walk through walls (has to be enabled after loading the disk, if you are inside a wall you should only tap the jump button and you will go one screen up, if you hold the button too long you will go too far up and die).
              LEUAEXLO - Jump higher (may have to use the grapple hook to enable scrolling in some parts).

                Little Nemo - The Dream Master (US):

                SXUUKUSO - Walk through walls to the left and right, jump through roof as well (two last codes are jump through roof), jump through roof has to be enabled so that collision detection doesn't push Nemo down. At certain areas on the stage you may get crushed and die while inside a wall.

                AYULATAP - Scrolling doesn't stop to the right. Nothing special exists beyond the stage limits though, after a while of blackness random background tiles occurs which sometimes leads you to random areas or the beginning of the stage.

                AVEINEOZ - Don't die from enemies/spikes, music doesn't stop unlike the other code that is in the database that was made by BeyondTheStatic, this code was found independently though but relies on disabling the same routine (although at a different point).

                    AAKVPNNY - Fill up the items list with around 60 items, most of the items you have to take in the items list before you can use them, also some items are actually in-game placeholders for objects that aren't really meant to be used as items. You only have one page to add new stuff, glitches may occur if you use up that page.

                    Note: You have to reset the game in order for the codes to work (it modifies and adds to the reset/startup routine).

                        Castlevania 3 - Dracula's Curse (US):
                        AVNEKKSZ - Wrap to the top when falling down pits.

                        AAXPTNXG - Walk through walls (first two codes deals with walking through to the right, third and fourth with walking through to the left). There are some cases that these codes doesn't cover, but it will handle most scenarios.

                          IUOOUZAA - View ending, ending will show after character select. The same effect as the five byte code for the european version, managed to shrink i to 4 bytes by replacing two bytes used by a jump indirect routine instead of making my own jmp call. Last two codes sets World 7 so that the graphics look right when unplugging the pipe, if you skip them the code will still work but graphics will look wrong initially.

                            Super Mario Bros. 2 (US):
                            ATVLPYKZ - Enemies Can't Touch You (Request), can't kill birdo as eggs counts as enemies, can't bypass 1-2 by the flying carpet as you can't defeat enemy.
                            AEXUUAZZ - Can pick up any active object that you stand on, picking up Birdo's ball while still inside him doesn't clear the stage though, neither does picking up Birdo.
