Thanks. It'll allow me to not be off-topic if I mention issues that cause game freezes, bugs, slowdowns, and other such unpleasant phenomena that seem contrived specifically to cause aggravation (and busted laptops).
But, to the meat of my thread--I'm about to get back into the CWCheat business. Can't do it on my laptop (crashed my poor OS trying to run a PSP emulator), but my PSP's good to go. Expect to see lots of CWCheat codes for all sorts of NES, SNES, Genesis, GBA, and even N64 games. Forget individual cheat devices for each of those systems. My PSP IS the cheat device! BWA HA HA!
EDIT: I've already downloaded two emulators for my PSP (SNES and GBA). Next up is an NES emulator. That should give me a TON of games to slog through in order to create a truly MASSIVE (although unorthodox) CWCheat database.
I aim to be, for CWCheat, what Tony Hedstrom was (and still IS) for the NES Game Genie.
Hello! Jensです, at your service!
Signing up for joining this interesting Thread!
Where might someone find this truly amazing CWCheat database!?
I am a die hard fan for GBA games!
Here it is, the sesquicentennial post to my hacker thread! Long may it continue to live!
Anyway, here are a couple of codes for Pokemon Rumble Blast (U):
Infinite Money
080D8F14 3B9AC9FF
Infinite Wonder Keys
080D8FE8 00000003
Now, this game can FINALLY...be taken off...the zero codes list! If you smelllll...what the Xirt is cookin'! *Does People's Eyebrow*
EDIT: Don't turn the codes on until you gain control over your toy Pokemon. Otherwise, the game will freeze.
[Strike]ANOTHER EDIT: Turns out the codes I provided only work on a new game (as in, not resumed from a save).
This is the new "infinite money" code, for use with a pre-saved game:
083E5434 3B9AC9FF
And the new "infinite keys" code:
083E5508 00000003[/Strike]
EDIT, AGAIN: Turns out this stupid game uses a particularly insidious type of pointer--the addresses reset every time you start up the game, making it extremely difficult to determine the correct pointer. However, it's not that hard to hack infinite keys and cash for this game, to begin with.
So, you'll just have to hack the codes every time you start up the game.
Turns out that those codes I hacked for Pokemon Rumble Blast are pointer codes--they change every time you resume the game. In other words, they keep working for your current session, but the address changes every time you load up the game. So, I'd have to do the two-dumps thing all over again. As in, find the address, make a RAM dump, save and quit, resume, find address again, make a second dump, then email you the two dump files, Dybbles. You could do the rest (my stupid laptop has insufficient RAM to finish the job, but at least I can make/upload the dumps, and find the corresponding addresses).
On a side note, here are some updated codes for Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden (U):
*Original code found by Jan Gamer, Joker Command added by me. Press X and Y to multi-jump in mid-air. Does not work for characters with non-standard number of jumps (Jigglypuff, Kirby and Charizard), and also does not work on Smash Run and Final Destination stages. May not always work for those using custom equipment.
Finally, here's an edited version of the above giant code:
P1 "on steroids":
00C96CC8 40202040
00C96CCC 3F20203F
This version of the super-size code makes you about 50 percent larger than the AI players, and you do a TON more damage--Ganondorf does 212 percent damage with a single Spinning Warlock Punch in All-star Mode!
EDIT: Aaaand ANOTHER code! This one is for Lego Marvel's Avengers (U), update 1.2.0:
*Works on update 1.3.0 only; if used on prior updates, may cause the game to freeze. Also, only works for first 3 warriors at the moment. Will find fourth warrior's offset soon.
Also, on a side note: although I've mentioned it already in The Lounge, Sm4sh update 1.1.6 does not stop those GateShark codes for update 1.1.5 from working. So, you can continue to beat the snot out of the 9.0 Classic-mode AI to your gigantic, invincible, jump-spamming heart's content.
Aaaaand a long-overdue update to my hacker thread!
This time, the game in question is LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens for 3DS.

I've since given up on any further hacking in this game, because it's one of those annoying games that's obsessed with finding ways to randomly freeze out of the blue. Even worse, is the fact that it ERASES your save data when it does so! It's done this THREE times already. And, even worse, my 3DS charge cradle ALSO decided to stop working, so I now have NO way to charge my 3DS. I'm going to have to either buy a replacement charge cradle (and possibly a new charge cable as well; I noticed a split in the cord), or get another one of those Nyko charge base things (that are exhorbitantly expensive for what they offer--just an extended-life battery and some cool light effects on the charge cradle).
I'm going to have to figure out how the game has somehow "adapted" to the codes JanGamer and I found, despite no new updates having been released for several months now. By "adapted" I mean that the codes now cause the game to freeze for no aparent reason. It's as if the game somehow reconfigured its own memory addresses, so that the codes which used to work, now cause the game to freeze.
I have one last card up my sleeve, but I'm not sure how well it's going to work. I am simply going to add a terminator code line (D2000000 00000000) at the end of EVERY code. If this doesn't work, then I'm not sure what is going on with Sm4sh. I may have to simply reinstall the game itself, and start with a brand-new game save (which would require me to unlock all the characters, etc. from scratch...not something I'm overly fond of, given the huge amount of time that would entail).
EDIT: Turns out the problem involved the multijump code. All other codes work as expected (I've since rebooted Sm4sh with a brand-new save). I may try to figure out how to hack characters' attack, defense and speed stats later. I'd do this by applying then removing various badges repeatedly, while using unknown-value searches.
Here's a moon-jump code for Super Mario Maker (US) (v1.02):
D3000000 00000000
0066D3FC EDDF0A01
0066D400 EDC40A67
0066D404 EAF21FBA
0066D408 40800000
002F52F0 EDC40A67
DD000000 00000002
002F52F0 EA0DE041
D2000000 00000000
I found it by finding the offset between a set of working v1.02 codes from Speedfly, and comparing them to a set of equivalent Japanese v1.02 codes. I then applied the offset to the Japanese v1.02 moon jump code. Scratch ANOTHER notch in my ever-growing "code wall"! ^w^
A VERY LOOOONG overdue addition to my thread. I'm currently working on creating a comprehensive move ID list for Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. I got a head start by finding the first 97 moves (IDs 1-60 and 62 in hexadecimal) on Fort42.com. I then added moves to a .txt file, so I'm currently sitting on 197 moves catalogued so far. There are well over 500 moves to catalog, so this might take me some time. Anyway, I have an additional six attachments containing a comprehensive list of usable Pokemon IDs. I'll post the attachments here.
I did say I'd eventually get around to cataloguing all 500+ moves for Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, and, well...here they are. The highest value I tested was 290. The reason being that the highest ID used for an actual move is 275, for Hyperspace Hole. There are moves stored at higher values, but they're usually either single-use versions of pre-existing moves (possibly for test purposes), or just blank "null" moves (as in, they weren't even given a name).
My next project is going to feature cataloguing the vast number of moves in Dragon Ball Fusions. This game has literally THOUSANDS of them, and will very likely be the largest indexing project I ever attempt. Be aware that this will take me upwards of 2 weeks, most likely. The move ID values start at 0001 and extend past 0DD0. In decimal terms, that's over 3500 moves I have to slog through.
*Autoscroll must be enabled to complete World 3-Tower, as well as any levels featuring Sneaky Boo (the giant ghost which suddenly appears and then tries to creep up on you).
^Must use with Nolberto's Infinite-P-Meter code; has the same effect as Samus' Gravity Suit in Metroid games. You cannot enter sideways "swimming" pipes while this code is active.
do you think you can make me a code for dragon quest 8, xirtamehtsitahw?
i am looking for a max item in bag slot 1 code,i found this one:
[Inf Item Bag Slot 1] D3000000 00000000 285369DE 00000050 it was made by drummerIX,from here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/gateway-...02900/page-110 however it isn't working...help a feller out?
A Wise Man once said that common sense is really not that common.
I'm going to have to re-hack all those Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon codes that I hacked some time ago, because Fort42 was taken down due to troll activity.
Here's the first of those codes:
First (Hero) Pokemon Modifier: 0x00A1316C 0x00000XXX
