  • Doubled Codes

I was looking at the code for a few Gamecube games and noticed that for some reason every code was listed twice.

Hehe, you would spend the entire year fixing them, 'cause there are a TON. And it's not as easy as you think because you would have to select them one by one, which is a pain when there are more than 20 repeated codes (and that's being generous).

I used to delete the repeated codes, but now I don't bother (for big code pages at least) because there's no way to "select all" for a specific group, or other advanced options to select codes (such as select one, skip the next one).

I understand that as I've done the same before but at least we can have a list to go through when we have time.

I think a wiki page would do the job then to help keep track of whats submitted/fixed.

I'll try to any pages that I come across that I need attention here.

Or not. Can't edit wiki pages it seems.

So is this thread still for reporting duplicates or should I go elsewhere? Is someone still working on fixing them? I ask because the Mega Man X Collection entry for the Gamecube is all messed up, all the codes are not only full of duplicates but they are all also mixed together with no way of knowning which code work for which game without trial and error. There's no grouping basically.

I think some bot assisted pruning would be a good idea.
