So 'how' do you ripp a PSX game disc of it's music files when you have winamp?

ummmm well, Okay.... been trying to do thi now, being my hand is still rather sore and swollen from a sprang still, anyway LMZ or anyone do you know how to do this?

I have winamp and all those 'PSX SNES----all game system plug ins to play any and all game music types, and being always seeking new game music, well game music I have the game but the music has never been ripped, I would always say what the hell, 'why' is this game not ripped?

I am talking about well ALOT of PSX type games that it seem emulationnation or whatever that place is called took a dump on and seemingly forgot they are even out there, how can they have Suikoden 2 and not the first one even?

Anywya well that is it, is there an easy way please to take these files off a game disc, Suikoden for this matter and have them appear as PSF files? I see nothing on the game disc but bin files, VA files and some other strange types.... but how do they ripp these games please?

I would think with the winamp and the plug ins and the true game disc itself it would be easy, but I guess not, so seeking to know this please, and it has to be a crime that those people have simply forgot about ALL those million of other PSX games out there they forgot about.... Chrono Cross and Suikoden 2 is nice, but what the heck really with forgetting again 99.9% of the whole PSX game libary.....that is just silly (not in a fun way either....)

Ripping PSF music is usually really hard to do. Sometimes not quite as bad as NSF, but not actually easy like SPC. It requires taking the game, and then removing all the programming that's not related to playing the music.

I did a quick check, and it turns out there's almost no chance of Suikoden being ripped. But there's a program supposedly capable of doing so:

Problem is, I don't really know what can play those files...

The games that haven't been ripped to PSF, either are considered to be too hard, don't actually have sequenced music (like Silent Hill, for example), or nobody that is capable of ripping the music has the game. There's very few people who actually do the ripping, which makes them less likely to take actual requests, as possibly tens of thousands of people might be requesting things.

I've used that program before. It dumps the songs to WAV files, which can then be compressed to whatever quality someone wants, or to MP3 if they want it to be portable.

Neat I will 'try' that program and see if I can come up with them as wav files and such.

Also, I am sorry LMZ, blahhh I was thinking that all these PSX games have not been ripped rather because they are now pretty darn rare, I know not too great but what I thought, I know Suikoden 2 is more rare then Suikoden 1 even a better game, but after years of Suikoden 2 music, I do and did long for Suikoden 1 music again and just could never see why all those emu type sites have Suikoden 2 always but no one has Suikoden 1 at all.

Otherwise also so odd that even on the Suikoden 2 music files, the 'war' song which IS the best song is not even in the other psf files section.... a bother, I had that song once but these days cannot seem to find it anywhere, which is a bother, it is life, just still a bother hehe I am not too fond about it.

I mean I do that Kazzaa lite for those songs of PSX games whom have never been ripped and such, I do find ALOT, the Suikoden 2 war song and all of the ones from Suikoden 1 even, the issue is they are MP3 always, so is some 'space' that takes time to grab, and well mostly, sad to say, but seems ALOT of people on Kazzaa lite the p2p things are fraking assholes. (They sit there ONLINE) I try to get music from them (Suikoden ofcorse) and they always cancell my download, which they can do oddly and stupidly for Kazzaa to even have really---and YET they are always there, and I know they are because hell the same stupid fuckers (ummm excuse my language please) those same 'names' 'start' to download my 'porn files' I have from Kazzaa an awful lot----excuse me again but what fucking idiots, this pisses them off, they get mad send a few messages to me on Kazzaa I tell them the deal, they want a darn porn movie from my files that is 28 or so MBs, and I want a 3 MB song from them, and they like all other stupid people in the world sadly sit there and say 'hey let me get that' over and over, I simply tell them they can have it, if they give me the songs I want, and THEY get all pissed off just because I want something---again we are dealing with idiots here, again a 28 MBs movie file I would elave my net on all night so they could grab all I want is a few 3 MBs music songs, and 'they' get pissed off...what morons.

Anyway sorry about that, I do TRY Kazzaa alot, but an asshole always ducks the day on that thing alot. Some, well ALOT of Kazzaa users are nice and treat the thing as it is meant a sharring files freely, but some other people are real assholes on it
