Default 3's company is slowly losing its cast...

First Helen Roper, then her hubby Stanley Roper, then Jack Tripper.

    The latest is Ralph Furley.

Yea..... that is sad. But as that Forest Gump movie says death is a part of life, does not make it any joy for the ones of us still livng, but at least those who went are going to a better place, in most cases, I believe.

But Don Knotts was a neat and funny guy, he is and was well known, I remember seeing him alot for the longest time, from Three's Company as Hiro said, to the more known Andy Griffith Show (a North Carolina thing, you live here, you have to watch that and know it good...which is pretty neat, not off topic really, but that show had a made up town in a true and real state...it was so good, even today and for the longest time, that 'Mayberry' places, or 'area' it is really meant to be, they went and built 'MayBerry' stuff there....it has been awhile, and not really a part of that older 1960's show, but everyone needs to go to the MayBerry Mall....)

Anyway back to Don, it is sad he is now gone, I really liked him, and again for all my life so far he was in ALOT of movies and TV shows playing alot of different roles. From everything from Andy Griffith, to yes Three's Company to a million and others, to recent movies as the 'repair' man (who knew alot more about the space dimension or 'monsters' the main character were fighting more then they did) to even himself being voice for cartoon characters and even on cartoons as himself also in Scooby Doo and such others.

    ....Rest In Peace Don Knotts.

It is tragic to hear the cast of 3's company dying. Yes Don knotts was a very funny man in that show, what I can remember of him,is His eyes that he used to do,funny faces with his eyes in the episodes of 3's company. I know when I grew up watching those shows. It is sad to see people dying and people are lost but not forgotten. I am sure alot of shows are.

I can remember that when I met Hiro that was the favorite past time we enjoyed doing was watch 3's company.

Oya, that was his thing on that show. He was good at doing that suprised eyes thing. I seen him in a few other shows and stuff and he was just as humorous in all of them. I also remember watching that show with you. That was good times. I wish there were other shows good like that on tv now but I can't find many. Not ones that we both enjoy anyway.

uhhhh.... This is kind of shocking, well was to start with, but seeing where you two are taking it now, about 'good TV'.

These TV shows are in RE-RUNS on TV, maybe you should know, and also on DVD sets, classic TV is hitting DVD sets at like truely for the past two to three years 4 different shows per week. It is getting hard to even name a 'classic' to semi-classic TV show NOT on DVD or comming to DVD sets now even.

Other then that, the whole reason, is well yes as far as 2004.... 'new' TV' shows have kind of got stupid and suck rather bad....

Turn on TV even now, some where you can and would find a 're-run' of a classic show somewhere, 'always'. I mean I do not watch TV much, when I do, I watch the DVD sets, or the 'classic' TV, but still not watching it much, I do not still see how anyone could turn on TV anywhere really and not see all the classic re-runs everywhere.

Then again, I dare say, I am not too sure you two know much about any classic TV anyway, even the Three's Company, seems like you may have ran across it by accident, and not it's true time showing or otherwise, and I say this simply because hiro had NO IDEA what that TV show What's Happening. A show well known, well known and seems he never even knew it was even ever made (He asked damecin if it was 'new') .... well anyway.

As is point is classic TV is out there everywhere how can anyone walk two feet and not find it anywhere. On TV turn the TV to TVLand channel, TV1 (a whole other 'classic' African American channel with GRWAT shows like Gimme' A Break and such) VH1 Classics even shows classic TV shows in the day times, also those Nickolodean channels.... I get 4 on DTV, and even 3 of those are classic TV shows. The other is cartoons, but even still more so classic cartoons. Other then all those DTV channels which are also on cable and most any other type TV choice most could or would have these days, even the 'local' TV channels The normal one you watch for local news even shows 'classic' TV shows, again because the new mess sucks ass these days.

Heck, our local Wilmington Area PAX xhannel did a special on our haunted hosue this last October, yes I was on TV (not big deal, done it before in extras and emss for Screen gems, but still) that halloween special came on all during a Wings and Cheers maraton, in the split where one show stoped and it went to the other title.

So again, I just do not see the mess you are saying about these shwos being 'gone' or anything, they are all around day after day 'always' and if that does not float you, well ehck they even ahve 80% of ALL TV shows on DVD sets these days anyway. Again an adverage of 4 per week on sets come out, not counting movies and all else, I pick up alot of times that many each week also, not always because well, soem classic shows even I do not like, but still...the whole deal of classic being gone, well just not so, they are more around now, then anytime back in the day when they were on Prime time. Three's Company as we are talking about here mostly is ON DDVD sets by seasons, go pick a few up,a nd then you have it and can watch it and enjoy it whenever you wish, againas I do with the classics I love.

Otherwise collecting all this 'TV' on DVD is yes nice, but otherwise, you sure need some free time for it, I amwacthing a set right now, but if I did not have to work and live, hehe if I was in a rest home, I'd have time to enjoy all of these but until those days, time is always pressed. I picked up Gimme' A Break, Facts Of Life, The Last Xena, He-Man (Master Of The Universe) and a whole other set of Heathcliff (that cartoon cat) and not even clsoe to watching it all to relive my childhood, and other then that, still waiting with my pre-orders on all the other mess out there still to come, Wings, Aeon Flux The MOVIE, got the anime set, BloodRayne, and well another He-Man the #3 in the set...as is, classic TV sitcoms, or cartoons even is 'always comming out' heck I do not care about Leave it to beaver, but something like that just came out Tuesdays as well, it was not that title, but something like that...again goodness, TV sets come out at least 4 per week these days.... so as is the point, classics TV in anycase does not seem to get rare like video games, it seems it will be out there for a while, a good while---so much HECK, the area BestBuy and Vircut City went to bigger stores last year and Wal-Mart is always making the eletronics area enclosed area always a bigger square.
