Default Castlevania Movie in the works...

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0488982/

It seems Paul Anderson is in charge of this one. Which makes me have a bit of hope. He is the maker of the Original Mortal Kombat movie, and Resident Evil. He struck out with Resident Evil Apocoplypse but he's still probably the most capable guy out there that makes movies about video games. I hope this turns out good cause maybe it can bring enough attention where they can release Rondo of Blood or remake of Castlevania III.

As for casting, I hope they go with no names, good no names. People at IMDB forums are talking about Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, and Tom Cruise. I kinda like the idea of Johnny Depp, but I dont care for the other two.

That's an interesting idea. Maybe they'll pull it off well. And maybe some of these other game-based movies being worked on will also be done right... Hard to say though, seeing as they haven't been finished yet.

Paul Anderson is a TERRIBLE Director.
The first Mortal Combat movie was fine, had tons of holes but overall was a decent watch. Resident Evil was terrible from all aspects, and Alien v Predator was quite possibly the worst film of the decade.

As huge of a Castlevania fan as I am, should this movie come out directed by Paul Anderson, I will never see it.

Really, I would not expect YOU to see it no matter who the director was really, you must understand to 'see' a movie, you need soem type of income, and from what I heard of you in the past and such, moving around cardboard box to cardboard box and such, I really fail to see you of having anytype of career much less any type of simple after school job in any case. But just my thoughts on that comment you made.

As for Paul Anderson movies, well I can deal with them all, the only one that threw me really was Mortal Kombat, being that Kano was 'killed' and Kano is and was meant to stay around for well a good while, via the game story anyway, so when the movie tells a different story then the game, it is kind of hard to swallow.

The Next Mortal Kombat was rather on and cool, I thought anyway, also for the other movies, the Resident Evils were cool and not exactly to the game story, but was indeed close enough to make them good and great.

The whole Castlevania thing however.... unless they get some great games out sometime soon, the whole name itself is getting rather ruined, soem 'okay' games out this year, and otherwise some that downright sucked ass, but nothing was close to the old NES and even SNES days of Castlevania 2, Castlevania 3, and Super Castlevania, then the wonders of Castlevania SOTN on PSX and even Cronicals as well.... but to win back 'everyone' they really need to remake in 2D as well, maybe a remake as I said before of Castlevania 3, and even bring over to the US that PC Engine CastleVania Dracula X the water downed SNES version well 'sucks' really needs a port or a remake on that.

Heck Castlevania SOTN also needs a remake, that Saturn version got ALOT more then the PSX version, so really what is needed is a good old Castlevania Collection game, much like the Mega Man Collections.

Thank you for the personal attack in your post. It really shows you care.

And by the way, I've BEEN out of school, I HAVE a well-paying job, I'm out on my own now, and I've never been happier. I have plenty of spare time to hang out with friends, a fine amount of money to spend on what I want (after paying all my bills, shopping, etc).

So, your "thoughts on that comment I made" are quite off the mark, thank you.
