Well, I do believe he is and was seeing if there was any fans of this show around and such really, and asking if lighthearted meant good or bad because of that, otherwise great theme tune, I love it and it does bring back alot of memories of the good old days when I was even young...goodness a good while ago.

Maybe that is why you cannot or do not remember this show Hiro? I mean no disrespect in anyway, but it is rather old, strarted in 1976 til 1979, so was a good while back. (And yes strange but true, my memory not bragging now, but my memory is at times on older mess rather good, I do remember alot of mess from when I was even younger then a year old and people seem to find that 'strange'. I swear I did not just read the webpage I am about to post. My memory well, sometimes and some of it is this good.....not sure 'why' just is, not exactly a good thing always, makes me indeed miss alot of great stuff and times.)

Now as is and as said, maybe, just was not around your time Hiro, again nothing bad, just was the ways of older TV in those days. Here is the link to be able to know more about this show.

Now for me it has also been comming on that TVLand channel but as far as networks been gone for a long long time. Also otherwise, well yes it is and was a 'black' show, not saying that again as anything bad, back then black shows, white shows, any shows on TV were indeed good, but it is and was one of those shows that well was mostly targetted towards black people. (Sanford & Son, Good Times, Family Matters and such some of those old as well, maybe not known by Hiro, but one should be, the Family Matters, but all again were great shows of their times)

Again this is a classic great show, and though does run on TV Land now, and is also on a DVD set as well, I remember this show way back when it came on normal TV, the 'networks' hehe the old days, before Cable and Satilite and such, before even the Fox and WB and UPN networks as well hehe---ah the times have indeed changed in 25 years. :shock:

Otherwise, I do believe that is what he was aiming at, other fans and such of this show, and I do like the show, as is, heck I LOVE alot of older TV sitcoms and movies and anime/cartoons. (Remember I am the She-Ra girl here after all. :P )

It's possible that I seen it. But I don't really recall it for sure. I do remember Good times tho. The guy that wrote Good Times wrote this too. Good times was a good show. I still remember their dad dying, and that skinny guy pretended to shave his head once, but it was just a tight cap or something.
