I've noticed the gas prices, but not anything to do with what winter may be like this year. I'm not sure, but I'm of the impression that most people's heating is either natural gas or electric, and not oil based. I know there are places that still use oil, but I'm not sure what percentage of the total that might be.

I'm gonna be using propane heat myself. But yeah. I definately noticed the gas prices. it costs me maybe 10 bucks to get to and from work every day. Now that I got a family to support every little bit hurts. Too bad I can't afford a hybrid, cause one of those things sounds pretty tempting right now.

Well with Katrina and Rita putting a double wallop on my homestate, expect gas prices to remain high, possibly even go higher. Plus these two storms made a mess of my homestate, but spared my area....twice, go figure.
