What the hell? A NEW side scrolling SMB game?

For the heck of it I did a google image search on Super Mario Bros 4 and came up with this page.

It's a sidescrolling Super Mario Bros game, but with 3d graphics. I have to say I was suprised cause I didnt' hear anything about this yet. But this could well be something to make me buy a DS. This and the new Castlevania game. I think people have been calling for a game of this type to be made for years, so I'm glad Nintendo finally answered the call.

I saw a trailer for it on gametrailers.com a while back, looks a bit odd. I would say I'd like to play it, but I don't have a DS this year.

I wonder if any of the future non-sidescroller mario games will see the return of the fireflower, I dunno why they haven't done it yet.

Looks interesting. Though, I'll just wait until it's emulated before I play it...

Ya, I'm not sure why the Fireflower has been left out of the Mario 3d games. I liked that powerup.
