Default GameHacking.org Weekly Hacking Target (05-22-11) - Legend of Zelda [...] [SNES]

This week's hacking target will be The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past, for the SNES.

The rules are simple: hack whatever you like, as long as it hasn't been hacked, and post in this thread with any codes/progress/questions/requests (yes, requests are welcome). To verify what's already been hacked, take a look at these pages:

    http://GameHacking.org/?s=v2&sys=6&gid=1540
    http://GameHacking.org/?s=v2&sys=6&gid=29
    http://GameHacking.org/?s=v2&sys=24&gid=2646
    http://GameHacking.org/?s=bsfree2&sys=4&gid=2563
    http://GameHacking.org/?s=bsfree2&sys=4&gid=6098

If you don't have the game, or don't want to hack it, wait until next week, and if you like, suggest the next game in the main "GameHacking.org Weekly Hacking Target" thread.

    Happy hacking!

It would be nice if someone might be able to share some sav files, so we don't have to spend time progressing.

I may get on this tomorrow, since new epis of Family Guy and Game of Thrones are sittin' on the DVR.

Well Here are my first few codes as well a a few save states for snes9x debugger v1.43, they arent too far into the game but should suffice.
    Code:
    Rooms Always Lit
    6365-A40C
    8A6A-DFA8

All Bomb-able Walls Opened (Has some issues where it opens some exit doors in caves and if you go in you can't leave,
save and quit if it happens or use mirror Only Works in Houses and Dungeons)
    CB82-6409

All Non Key Doors Open (Only in Houses and Dungeons)
    DD88-6DA9
    DDA5-D4A9
    C26E-04DC
    C26A-A46C

A mostly useless code, but it was the first thing I thought to hack when I started the game:

Color hue in Link's house, beginning of game.

    7E009C ??
    7E009D ??

    FF, FF - Deep purple
    C2, EE - Light blue
    AC, D8 - Purple
80, AC - Slightly green hue
48, 80 - Original blue hue before you gain control of Link
    32, 64 - Normal
    16, 48 - Slightly pink

There are other combinations, of course.

    Skip text and message sequences:

    7E1CD801

Kind of funny sometimes...for example, when Link finds his uncle dying, he just grabs his sword, and you can keep walking without a second thought.
