I never seen anything about this before so it came as a real suprise. There is also a Final Fantasy Anime. I don't know how many peole know about that. It is probably still being sold.

hmm.. I hadn't heard of that before.

As for final fantasy, there are 2 anime series. a 4 episode OVA series called Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals, which takes place in the world of Final Fantasy 5, some 500 (I think.. maybe it was 300) years after the events of the game. And a 25 episode TV series called Final Fantasy Unlimited that takes place in an original world.

I own one of those Final Fantasy Crystal tapes with 2 eps on it, the other I couldn't find. That series has a few voices from the Tenchi Muyo series, and one of the main characters "Pretz" is the voice of Tenchi.
The "Crystal" series is what made me think "ko-ko-bo" is how you pronounced the word Chocobo, until I heard it pronounced the other way on FFX. :P

I've seen a bunch of "Unlimited" too, but I still haven't finished the series, and I'm too lazy to get back into it right now.

That Mario thing looks weird, I don't think I wanna watch it though. :?

I also know of the Final Fantasy Animes, both of them, they were sold at the game store around when FF8 was, other then that and them on VHS I've really not seen it anymore really.

As for a Mario anime...the pur thought just scares me, I mean all the hopes it is somehting 'good' but fears makes me think the worst really. I mean Mario's record is not eaxctly 'good' some games were, others bit the dust bad, and as far as Mario cartoons...well those just sucked, as well did his whole movie. Also a live action Mario adventure a long time ago, if you remember had that 'Captain Lou' as Mario, that used to be professional wrestler with rubber bands all in his beard and mess, he was and played Mario, and well... everyone said that mess was crap, the cartoons, well Zelda was 'good to Okay' but Mario cartoons always sucked...so with hope a Mario anime would be good, but when I think about it really, there is no way on earth it could be.

I always thought the live action Mario movie wouldn't have been that bad, except it was using that license...

Yeah, the Mario movie wasnt that bad really. Just a bad use of the liscence.

As far as the mario cartoons went, yeah, when I loook back on them after downloading them they werent too good. I still love the live action segments for some odd reason. Since it doesn't pretend to be canon to the storyline I don't mind it so much.
