I was thinking, if Superman adopted Jimmy Olsen, how does he think he'd keep his secret identity a secret? He gonna walk around the house all day wearing that getup? :P

Heh, actually that whole Superman Is A Dick thing is pretty funny...to go into more detail, I've personally seen a special on racism in old cartoons in which Superman threw all the Japanese people out of the country during WWII...

Yeah, I had that on my computer before its memory got wiped out. I also had a Popeye episode where Popeye battled the "Japs" and whomped an entire air carrier out. All the Japanese were drawn in a exaggerated unflattering style. Those were different times and propeganda was allowed to be offensive. The propeganda used this war was much different then the ones used in the WWII days.

Oy, speaking of war promotion in cartoons, my bro bought a cheap Superman the cartoon dvd at walmart I think it was, and he's fighting the Japanese in a couple eps. :? All through the cartoons they call them "Japs" too.

Japs seems to me to be the least offensive racial slander out there. Definately tame compared to "Gook", ******, and redneck". Seriously, it's just a abbreviation of what you would normally call them.
