Stupid Folder Options...anyone know how to 'save' them as?

ummm right quick question here, sorry, yeah nothing all that big, but still a stress causing mess, and that is, how do you have folder options and 'save as' so those things in each folder, even other folders are listed the same way each time you open it?

I ask this, because well, each time I open folders 'now' things are all listed in strange ways, not by type, nor name, nor anything within reason. (I have auto arrange clicked) and each time I choose arrange as 'type' which puts all things in ABC order by type, I say all is well, yet each time I go back to that folder it is all arranged corny again. (Even does this when I click arrange by type, then see all is good, I click a folder to enter, then backspace to go back to main folder and all things are messed again.

So short and simple, please... I know not a HUGE issue, just blahhh a little click somewhere, I am sure, but where and what do I do to arrange all things by type and have it 'saved' that way on well whole PC as well, please?

Make a new folder that wont have screwed up options? maybe the current folder has some options you dont want and using a differnt one would be right.

I think there's a button to "set all folders like this one" or something under the folder options. But I'm not sure how well it works.
