Default IMPORTANT & QUICKLY, does GBColor Codes work for GBA?

All on the datel device, 'Action Replay' cause that is all I have or can find, but please someone tell me, is it possible and would work, if I found and bought some GameBoy Color games, would the GBA AR work for them? As is could I put in GBC codes and have them 'work' all on the GBA 'player' for my GameCube and all that good stuff?

For example these codes FOR GameBoy Color:

Now would these 'work' all good and well in my GB player for GameCube with my AR for GBA? I do wodner and ask, sorry just making sure, I saw these two games for sale and they are 'rare' so thinking about grabbing them soon.

I think I tried the AR on gamecub player and it did work. But GBA AR is not backwards compatible. That sux pretty badly. In fact none of the GBA cheat devices are backwards compatible. So far the only cheat device looking to be backwards compatible is the upcoming DS Gameboy Codebreaker. That will let you use codes on GBA.

Default IMPORTANT & QUICKLY, does GBColor Codes work for GBA?

:? Well, I am confused now...maybe I said it and worded it all wrong again? I do that abit sometimes, I 'know' the AR for GBA works on the GBA GameCube Player, I am aware of that, as would not even be messing with the GBA Player nor games if there was cheat device that works on it. (I am yes that strong minded on cheating on games, not to be all 'cheatful' really, but the way life is for us adults, I know we all have it, we do not have the free time to spend weeks and months on games like we did when we were really young, so now, forget going up levels in an RPG game, forget all that time wasted mess, so if there is no cheats nor cheat device on a system these days I pretty much do not touch the games that need such cheats.)

Anyway I know the AR for GBA 'works' on the GameCube GB Player, just now asking if cheat codes for game boy color can be put into the AR for GBA and those codes work? I need to know if someone would try and see and test please, maybe Helder or someone with a GBA and a cheat device, I need to know this.

I mean point is, yes the games are backwards compatible, you cna use GB Player to play games from the 'old' Game Boy days, but I need to know if the 'codes' from datel will work. They seem maybe they will? Not saying eys or no, but looks maybe they will ebcause a one line code for GBA AR is ten digits, and same for GBColor codes, so the digits fit, just wondering if codes will indeed work or not?

I do see that there is no (M) codes for the GBColor codes, so that may be an issue, if so, maybe Helder can tell us more being he is really into and local resident GBA code hacker expert.

Again just need to know to see if these games, these Zelda games are of any interest to me really, yes I would like to have them, have located them at a local game store, but if I cannot cheat with my only cheat device AR for GBA, I will just leave them, as I said, these days I do not buy much of anything you cannot cheat on anylong, much the reason I no longer buy anything for XBox, just no time in my life to 'waste' pretty much throwing it away in a game these days.

So that I really need to know, I do know that yes AR and CB work in GB Player for the GameCube, but need to know if codes for GBColor will also work in that AR for GBA or not.

Amy Ill clarify for you,the gba cheat devices ONLY work with the gba games,if you had a flash cart and had the gbc roms along with the meulator it might be possible but not too sure on that,as for it working on straight GBC carts it wont you will need a GSPro for the GBC or a codebreaker for the GBCmalso in case your wondering if the codes can work they cant any code for the AR is 16 digits and the GBC codes are 8 so its no possible.

ah well, is life I guess, no GameShark or any cheat device for that matter around for sale for the GBColor, so blahhh they can keep those games and let them rot up there at the store. (No wonder such rare games are simply just ;laying around' these days, without cheat devices the games themself are well, excuse me but 'worthless'.)

Ah well, Thank You for the answer, that saves me money in not now going after those games, can go after other games that 'work' with the devices I have.

Now what game shall I go for now, 'Link' those Orical of Seasons and Ages is out, maybe the Minish Cap, or maybe Kingdom Hearts for GBA, or that other F-Zero game...which one is better of these? heck maygbe a whole other GameCube game anyway. errr hehe sorry about my not making up mind, just that I am in the 'funds' now to allow me to grab a game, but not sure which one I shall go for exactly, because the next game will be all preordered and such (tight money in the world.) So with a small freedom to choose, it is something to think about here.

:P heh well, will have to take your advice for another day, I mean all good and such and I shall get ahold of all those games I have listed someday, today owever I went for something other then game for enjoyment. (Okay I went for p0rn :P ) As is the games I listed are great games, ones to get, but as with most games these days, with GBA 'sadly' going the way of an older machine, not as fast thanks to DS able to play 'both', so within time, like with the PSX those games will become 'cheaper' and 'used' within time, so shall, in other words grab them later.
