    Another update:
-Fixed a bug with the code handler in the Mupen version.
-Added PCSX 0.9.6 to the presets. Keep in mind the address may only be good on the specific version of windows I'm running (XP 64-bit SP2). I was unable to find a pointer.
-Fixed that little issue with the edit box in the memory editor. It was running out of space before all 8 characters could be entered if using caps.

It should be noted that Mupen64.exe can be found in the winproject folder.

Another new version. The search results issue is still there. Only seems to appear with no$gba. I'm at a loss on that one. Current rex.cfg (v1.03) should be ok with this one. The default PCSX2 0.9.6 address was fixed, but it's probably dodgy and likely OS specific (4DB1000, static). I still encourage deleting the CFG every version though. This is why I made code DBs save separately.

    Changes:

    * Fixed a bug with the code handler in the Mupen version. I think I got it right this time.
    * Fixed preset list scrolling (or lack there of).
    * Fixed a minor issue with saving/loading Cheat DBs. I've been wondering why it would ask me to save the DB when I open Renegade sometimes. I found the bitch now.

Why not use 01EFFFFF as the RAM size for pcsx2?
    eg 02000000 - 00100000 = 01F00000 - 1 = 01EFFFFF.
Then set the search filter to add 00100000 to every found address if PS2 is set as the Game System so you get the proper address.

New version up. I also did a release archive for Mupen with all plugins etc, so it so be ready to run. Still haven't figured out that issue some people are having with the 2nd search yielding 0 results. It's possible there's a memory protection issue. I need to look into the DumpRAM function and try some extra error checks when I have time. I'm also curious if anyone who's had this issue tried finding their own starting point for the particular emulator using tsearch or the like.

    Changes:

    * Fixed some interface issues in the Mupen version. Seems dropping the Hook tab the way I did was causing some problems. It's now disabled without changing tab order.
    * Added the 'I Forgot' search option. I always wondered what that was for in GSCC2k. Thanks LazyBastard.

W00t, I'll check it out later.

Think it would be feasible to implement a search feature in the memory editor?

Can you add an option to ignore all results that fall on a 0,1,2,4,5,6,8,9,A,C,D,E address so you just get the results that fall on 3,7,B,F address when doing 8-Bit searches.

had a quick play with vers. 1.05 and it keeps on erroring when trying to dump internally from the chosen emulator (in the search tab) i alway's get this msg saying 'error dumping the process in memory'

is it possible to create an .ini file with this program that allows use to get renegade to working with other emulators ( like atari, cbm etc)

Huh. Whatever emulator you tried to dump probably isn't as static as I expected. For whatever reason, the game system RAM within an emulator can be loaded to different places on different machines/OSes. It can work all day long with any game loaded for me but will absolutely refuse to work for some people. You could try figuring out the starting point manually and update the preset. The readme has more info on doing that.

You can also set everything on the hook tab for a new emulator and hit Add Preset, as opposed to having to edit an INI. I haven't had a lot of luck finding the right part of the memory to dump with some of the older systems I've tried though. It's weird. Like I can find the start point on PCSX but not ePSXe. Makes no sense. I think I was also looking to do SNES9x or Gens something at one time too and failed.

Found a bug. Applies to at least 1.05 and 1.04.

The image is first without the path selected, then with... And the result of searching after the path has been selected.
