It's about time I post again

Well damn. It's been ages since I posted here. I guess it's time I become active on the forums again (I have been semi-active in irc for some time).

This isn't really the right forum for an exceedingly general topic like this, but what the hell, I've never been much for conforming anyway. :P So hey everyone. Edgar is back.

Well, I suppose I should make this somewhat on-topic, so here goes. Just finished watching episode 3 of Now and Then, Here and There... god is this turning out to be a depressing anime. Not that I mind, I've become quite a connaisseur of misery over the years, and some of my favorite animes are depressing ones (Grave of the Fireflies anyone?). but wow... I guess I just didn't expect this one to be so depressing, even though I've heard many people say it was. Anyone else watch N&T,H&T? Keep in mind I'm only up to episode 3, so no spoilers please. :)

Aside from that, I am currently getting Matantei Loki Ragnarok, Samurai Champloo, Planetes, Uninhabited Planet Survive, Ah Megami Sama / Oh My Goddes (the new TV series), Xenosaga (the anime, not the game. Though I am currently playing the second game as well), Gundam Seed Destiny, Banner of the Stars, Banner of the Stars 2, School Rumble, The rest of the Gall Force OVAs that I have yet to get, Kaleido Star, Detective Conan (fansubs, not the tripe Funimation is releasing here), Bleach, Fushigi Yuugi, and Otogizoushi. and I plan to start watching Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien and Full Metal Alchemist (fansubs, I actually started watching it shortly after it started airing in japan, but got caught up in other stuff around episode 13, and have yet to continue it from there) soon.

What have other people been watching lately?

Great to see and have you back Edgar, just as Hiro said as well, and even more so heh you have to become our anime advisor now. (I not been too keen on anime as of late myself really) Last anime I bought or got was, Nanako (Nurse Nanako not listed as 'hentai' but she sure does show her bouncy breasts alot) Which is well good, I say and think, and still 'into'; my hentai of F3, but otherwise not had nor seen anything 'newl;y' new in a good while yet.

I am looking for and well foward to the Winx Club DVD releases whenever but that is not 'real' anime heh so. Otherwise as of now, as 'everything' old is going to DVD collections now, I pretty much when I can watch DVD collections and not TV aired itself. I myself now more so deal with only news on TV itself, and after that turn to Punky Brewster, Reba, Xena, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Quatum Leap and all other DVD collections.

heh, I still love F3. Easily one of my favorite hentai series... Recently I saw Sexfriend, and that is also really good. I've actually seen torrents for the soundtrack. heh. I think I'll download it one of these days.

As for good new anime, Genshiken is really good, though I think being an anime obsessed otaku makes it better. So I'm not sure how good it is if you are not one (Though DS seemed to like it). what else... damn.. I haven't gotten around to watching a lot of the new stuff. I've just been downloading and burning. I hear samurai champloo is really good, It's a samurai anime by the director of Cowboy Bebop. Elfen Lied was kind of messed up... Tons of blood and gore... and nudity... and a little bit of pre-teen rape thrown in for good measure... It was worth a watch, and I liked the characters and story. Some of it just seemed over the top though.

Hmmm... though it's not really new, I think you might like Tsukihime. It's on my list of favorites. Really good vampire/undead series that is both dark and not at the same time... The characters, music, and mood are all excellent, and it has the cutest vampire ever, Arcueid.

I've recently been watching a host of retro stuff, to include the entire animated series' of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman, X-Men, Spiderman, as well as the Simpson's collection up to the 13th season, some original He-Man, Aeon Flux, Star Trek TNG for some reason, and as for semi-new stuff, I recently watched and found semi-decent Princess Mononoke, as well as Spirited Away...

Any idea where I might find some Smurfs eps, besides E-Bay and the like?

Ya, I been watching that Spiderman alot nowdays also. I gues I gone spidercrazy since those movies came out. That cartoon was pretty good quality. I used to watch it when they were still making new episodes.
