Anyone know what ports on a PS2 allow access to the RAM? I ask...because I've never used or seen anyone use a cheat device on one, heh. Just curious...for now.

I would guess that any of them connected to the i/o processor could have ram access if some piece of software was running to dump memory.
I did find some possibly useful information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_2
Indeed that WAS useful, especially as to what versions of the PS2 contained what components, and where Sony's consoles seem to be heading. No more internal HD's, it would seem...USB or Ethernet connection to the late PS2s/PS3s would still seem viable, though.

The ps3 should have gigabit ethernet instead of mere 100 Mbit...
last month i noticed them ethernet cards like that,10/100/1000 ethernet cards, cant wait till broadband uses that.
