PS2 Memory Card help

Dunno if this is in the right place, but anyway

I have this save on my Mem card for MAX Memory Settings from AR Max and I can't get it to delete. Was wondering if there was a way to get rid of it without formatting the whole card.

Other notes: I made the Max Memory save from a "backed up" version of AR Max. Needless to say I couldn't get any codes to work (yeah I know Codes from backed up version of cheat discs don't work but at the time I thought I had found a way to trick it into doing so.) Anyway, since the codes didnt work I tossed the disc, expecting that the PS2 Browser would be able to delete the said file but it just gives me the "Delete Failed" error message.

I know I could probably do it if I had another mem card to copy all my legit saves over to it and then format the original card but I dont have an extra mem card so that's out.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

With an AR Max disc, you could move all your saves to a standard USB flash drive, which are fairly easy to come by these days...
