PSX GSPro Final Fantasy 4 Requests

Short and simple so far, am/was wondering if there were name modifiers for the charaters, something maybe like the ones LMZ made and did for Chrono Trigger, ones thta save, and have enders and such so not to cause issues and problems, please?

I know these codes can be done, I just don't have any way of doing so yet. Or maybe I do. I'll see if psx emulation can be of any help. I'd rather not go many hours through the game to get where you can change the character names normally to hack this.

Thank You LMZ, and blahhh no do not go through the game just for codes, not a new game or anything really so blahhh, I would expect it'd be simple to do from start, I mean with Emu stuff and hacking, but if not ehh well, still no need to go through whole game.

With that said, I do thank you for looking and if you find anything I'd be interested, just do not want you to go through whole game for codes and mess. I even know gahhhh that is abit much to ask, if someone came up and said hey Amy play through this entire game, I'd be like heh well not happy, so with hope, I was hopeing and thinking it'd be soemthing at the start from a short while of play, like say in naming the first guy 'Cecil' or such.

Also to note the whole reason I am asking is well, still trying to get all my PSX saves 'right' and good, but time does go by after years and years, and well gahhh some people named on my games, well like real life were friends at the moment, but now not so, so always wanna keep game saves and thus names 'up to date'...darn got a few games to go through yet even, this FF (I may) and other FF series...gosh, done CC and CT at leats but ehhh when time is not always there, heh eh well. :P

Well, I think I've got some idea where to look now, and I've at least got the digits for whatever the results are. It's looking like you can only change the names of characters you have access to, but I'm not certain. The problem is there's 7 places it could be, but for some reason there's always copies of stuff in this game's memory. I'll figure it out soon...

Thank You LMZ, I will be looking foward to that, and the deal about only able to change names or rather 'edit' names of those members 'in' your party, that is all good, as is, you have to get those characters someday. :wink:

Other then the digits, we just need the 'ender' or finisher, or whatever the sign/digit is that tells the name to stop and finish so you have it as "Amy" and not "Amyia" as sometimes games do because of no 'enders' which I am also about to ask about, sorry but gahhh not sure why enders are at times hard to find. Above I was like saying name Rydia as myself, and without enders I get her last letters after my name of three letters type stuff.

From what I've seen 'enders' are mostly either of two digits, either 00 or FF, and some games like FF7 being where 00 is a digit (space even) I would expect the ender to be FF, but heck could be all off really also. :? But most name edits I have seen are and do have those two digits as the enders or such.

Also again, sorry but heh yeah I am doing all my games over again trying to anyway, is getting abit long, but am trying. I am doing them over again to get the saves all good and right and then wanna add those saves somewhere and such (made a whole other topic, not yet but soon about that, if maybe that is a good idea?) And well, you know RPG games where you can 'name' people, always gotta be 'right' I mean your friends and family and such, you all know I am sure, I would guess we all sat around the week ends at times and also played RPG games of old and each of your little friends and family would stand, or other wise allow everyone to know who they wanted to be and such. I mean all great memories of life and such, but after awhile life changes, so well, though an old game, I do like to keep names updated.

I mean well, boyfriends and girlfriends come and go and all that mess from when we are young to when we are old, and yeah heh I blame my brother for alot of this really. I mean yes I name mostly the head female as myself (as long as NO romance between head female and head male, not into sick mess blahhhh) and name head male as my brother on most games, but my brother gahhh always having a different girlfriend and always needing her in it always, makes even old games need 'changing' after awhile, and all these RPG games are pretty much hard to keep playing month after month and such. :shock:

I mean like well like I asked a while back for Chrono Trigger name mods, which were done and great Thank You again ever so LMZ, in it ever sense we first got that game way back in 1995 and played (rented it alot of times from video store ahhh the good old days) my brother has always been 'Crono' and Crono gets 'with' Marle, so that means she is hmy brothers always 'current' girlfriend, yeah yeah a mess...soi puts me having to get things updated at times and such. (I name myself Lucca by the way, she become me, Amy) I am not a nerd...but ehh was best one in a pinch in the game really.

So I am sorta a neat freak on all things, even my game saves and such. Yet like with FF4 (FF2 on US SNES terms) starting the game over all the time gets 'hard', well not hard rather more of a time eater then anything, yes great and fun game, but after I get 'Rosa' and suddenly, my brother again being Cecil again changes dates and love interests ahhh gets abit of a time wrecking mess without codes, so well that is all why really. Again NOT that my brother changes girlfriends and such every day, nor alot really, he is decent, is my brother, just that well some of these games, I not played in well awhile. FF4 as we are talking about not sence it came out, I must say.

And well, right now, though I do not have all the free time in the world, it is how grown up life is, but am working on these 'older' games and getting saves right all over again, specialy because of now for awhile anyway the game market is rtaher 'slow' after the bigger games, Resident Evil 4 and such, and not really into any 'new' games out there right now, so hitting the roots really and just getting that all good, again.

Neat, Thank You LMZ, this puts that game to bed finnaly and not having to 'replay' it all over again to get the save right. Thank You Ever so, heh now all I need is the 'space' in GSPro to put the codes in. That darn FFT as I said, goodness, that is a killer. (Killer as in well gahhh the 'literaly' millions of codes for it. :shock:
