'watnet' is 80% always down, maybe time for a 'mirror site'?
:x :shock: :? :roll: err well, not sure if the place being down 80% of the time is why or why not alot of people are no longer showing up, but it is a fact I found that maybe should be issued abit.
'watnet' seems to fail to 'connect' alot these days, out of ten times I try to connect here to the site, I get in at about 2 times every ten times I try, that is like getting on at 20% and the site being down 80% of the time. Again, it is the'whole' lot of watnet, sence when the place is 'down' I try for anything watnet and that is also down nearly all the time.
My personal opinion, is well, 'watnet' is a pretty shitty server anyway, freedom of speach now, and anyway... yeah we are here free, but being here free is not all that great when everything is nearly always 'down', plus, there are no watnet admins, really...well alot of people have the 'admin spot' there, but those who do have that spot are never, never around, fell off the face of the earth, I am simply myself shocked to see how the server last so long when neither the owner nor admins ever bother to fiox all the mess wrong with it, is the owner and admins even 'alive' anymore really I have to wonder alot.
I know LMZ is an admin, of the site and all else around here, and he works and does alot, has to, seems he and Lazy have alot on them and are the only one's around anymore, but still LMZ and Lazy are not watnet owner's nor can really help nor make those servers work, and work out all the 'bugs' in them. Ron is around...err well once a year it seems ever so often, but otherwise (another issue tie in) do you think Czar and TruWizdom rememebrs the link here? Just wondering (abit off topic) because they are 'active' at GSCCC, but no longer here, but maybe that can and also may be just life...but anyway back on topic.
Maybe time to wonder and see and maybe search for mirror sites? (like a back up site) I know 'space' is always an issue, but when we are here wishing to and expecting to someday soon become an true business, it would never be good to be on such faulty servers that are always down 80% of the time.
I am sorry this sounds bad, but well yes really it sorta is, I must speak my own mind, not being all perosnal nor anything, but yes I do getr ather 'pissed' to come here and find as I said alot of times (8 out of 10) 'page cannot be displayed' and it is not a cookie thing, I fixxed all that, I tried here, and on sevreal other PCs in my house, the place is always 'down' 80% of the time. Thus maybe 'mirror time' maybe? I know that is not 'easy' but I have seen and know of alot of sites out there with site mirrors so that one at least is always active.
And no it is nothing personal towards anyone who is a member or really 'active' here as is, we all try to make the place as best it can be, but in my own personal opinion, I believe watnet servers and service to be shitty. (Again nothing personal towards anyone, I know LMZ, and others try as hard as they can) but when the server owner's and 'bbigger' admins do not clean and keep servers up and running, the problems go beyone the 'boss men' it goes to the owner men, which knida is useless when none of the 'owner types' are never there nor around at all. :roll:
