What happened to the ubb...

No Questions, just a Thank You. This type of board seems and is pretty good from what all I seen, this type is used alot more these days then UBBs on alot of game/code/anime type sites so this is all good. (I do not want to curse it by saying 'hey this is good' but it rather is.)

Also a Thank You as well LMZ for moving all the topics and replies over. There were alot, and I would figure it is rather a pain, so for that I also Thank You again. (also for the fact still always gathering and requesting codes and other types of help on the old UBB that moved here)

Other then that, just wondering (I know it is always soemthing to play with when you get the time) but just wondering, maybe odd, but not 'hexing' the place, as it was pretty cool, but anyway, when not signed in, the board is black and gold. When signed in, the board is err white. :?

Surprisingly, it was really easy to transfer everything from the ubb. But, you're welcome anyway/

As far as it changing colors when you log in, that's pretty easy to fix. There's a setting on everybody's 'profile' for which style they want to use. The one everyone has set automatically is subSilver, which is the white one. But, I set the default to subBlack, which is the darker version that shows up when you're not logged in.

Something worth mentioning is that for some reason you can't use the [img][/img] tags for putting an image in your signature... But I enabled html, so things like images, links, and even centering things can now be done.

Cool, it's neat, but i hope you're planning on setting it up with our logo and stuff, though i realize that takes time. I noticed i can't use the random image script for random avatars on the UBB, will it work here? dare i try? anyway, it's cool that you enabled html, so much more freeing, and i very much doubt anyone here will try doing anything stupid with the html capability...i'm just checking if it will play sounds :P.

Also, does anyone have a copy of Kazaa Lite K++ for Miss Amy? she very much needs it, as she's had to restore her computer. I'm helping her get windows XP set up. Sorry i haven't responded to your email, Amy. I just wanted to do it when i had some results to report.

If you want, the random image script does work for avatars. I just tried putting my random sig as my avatar, works no problem.

KEWL! Cuz i got so many good seph pics i can't decide on. i even managed to turn your script into a random midi player which i use on my xanga weblog, great stuff! (i gave the gshi props for it too in one of my logs :P) Oh, and guess what! they finally restocked the SOTN soundtrack at sakura media, in-store i mean! I'm so getting that for my bday, which is a month and 9 days away

I actually like this black design, it looks sleek and not as flat as the ubb did. btw, who the heck too the backup board out of maintenance mode? it better not have been bryan. ah well...i'm going to bed in a bit, after south park.

I don't know how sound of an idea it is, but i've been poking around in the admin panel, and i set the default forum style (subBlack) to override the user style right now, cuz i really think it's best viewed in the black style. Alternatively, one could go into all the users individual profiles and set there style of choice to subBlack so that, should a user want to change it, they can.

I think the changing everybody's to subBlack and not forcing it is probably the best idea. I think, using some creative sql queries, it'd be pretty easy to switch all of them... I'll take a look...

Heh... That took all of 0.0287 seconds to change everybody's style setting to defualt subBlack... And I went ahead and changed the force style setting to off.

Anybody who had their style set to subSilver has it set to subBlack now...
