I kinda agree with Amy about the older cheat devices. I have an "overseas" device for the PS1 that enables to play my game backups I've burned from the originals & it works like the old Game Xploder.(which I have, for USA PS1)
Everyone's goung to emulators now, and most emus now have a code-hacking function, most of which operate as a Pro Action Replay or GS does.
To use my Genesis PAR, I gotta hook the Gen up to our big TV & tweak the picture alignment to get all the codes in a set to appear on the screen, & it takes a lot longer to hack even a simple code than it does with an emu. Plus, there's the limitation on the #s of codes one can use at one time with a real PAR or GG. However, I will never chuck my real GEN, SNES, SNES, NES, Atari 2600, Odyssey, Vectrex, or original Pong console.
Perhaps someone will make an XBox emu with a code-hacking feature.
