W00t! Final Fantasy Advent is finally being released in USA

It's gonna come out on the 25th of this month. I can't wait to buy myself a copy of that. I hope they got some good voice actors. Heck I'd even settle for subtitles. It's been a long wait for this dvd.

hmmmm well, I do and would expect everyone here, or otherwise everyone into Final Fantasy series, or RPG's for that reason alone would have the release date imprinted into their brains by now, or I would hope so, if they are anyone at all.

As is, if it is and was important, it always would be well known, as I did and have had for a good near a year now evn, my special edition DVD and PSP (several of them at that for collector's purpose) has been well prepaid and pre-ordered for such a long time now, so indeed about time it came out, but again if anyone missed this date, they do deserve to have their fingers cut off so they cannot even remotely play video games again. Being on top of the game, even when it is not a game always makes you a winner.

Well, it is 7 pm, and today IS the day...so as is, time to bragg and or well really make fun of those who missed it.

I swear today goodness, this movie is GONE, all the empty slots at BestBuy and all other stores as well, the movie is pure as snow in a siummer heat storm 'gone'.

I got my hands on a few copies, but well heck I pre-ordered as anyone would, and to see the faces of all the kids who stayed out of school, or even who went to grab one and ALL gone but pre-orders, and I sat their and smiled as I picked up my eight copies. (hell even had one kid try to buy one from me too.... he wanted it for list price, and I was all like, go fucking die or soemthing geez, I mean list price, hell I have them and most of the world does not, time for a good sessions of placing the price HIGH, ehh well, anyway will sale a few on ebay, that will get some pretty pennies, as is, BestBuy and video Game stores are indeed 'out' other then pre-orders and will nto get any normals in to sale for two weeks, long enough to make a good killing on ebay, anyone missed it want to buy one?

Anyway the day is the day, so as is always, well who missed it and who has it, come on show your cards in the game of life now. Also grabbed a few Aeon Flux movies and such, but as is, magic Tuesday the 25th.... not seen a DVD go so darn fast as this Final Fantasy thing, kids and some grown ups as well were speeding and asking all over town in each store, it was almost a panic even, like this DVD was water or something----odd but that is life. Glad I got my few ones, so who else grabbed it up today? If someone did miss it, no real worries, I guess, it will fill up store shaves in time, but today darn for a new DVD title and BestBuy who had millions this morning, darn if alot of people did not simply pick them dry. (and yes I mean and meant more then ONE BestBuy as well.)

ah neat well AE, nice to see you around again and also great to see you got this, kind of starange however still how on opening day and BestBuy of all stores (again several of them at that) running pure out of the thing when no other DVD has ever done that.

Odd but in a good way, that shows video game player's are and do indeed grow in numbers, that number again had to be HUGE to cause such a store like BestBuy and all others at that to pure run out of the DVDs.

Now as for the whole DVD otherwise, I do agree with you also, heck, sorry all but it 'does' look a small bit too 'claymation' like, it does not look 'real' all that good, maybe they should have got some 'real actors' but as that is, that could have been far more messed up too.

Heck Aeon Flux uses that computer claymation mess ALOT, and it looks real, the FF7 movie, ehh well, Sony, you did not do the best, but like they wanted to really, they simply knew the name alone would sale it like mad, and indeed it did. Sad to say, but we all know it, if we had trown a FF7 sticker on a can of beer, hell we would be able to sale that for a very high price, and I mean bad beer the poorest brands, those genetic brands that taste like piss---yet still someone would buy it from us.

I saw it 'all' in the Street Fighter days some gahhh 17 years ago even with Street Fighter 2...darn 17 years old now but even then in 1991 when that game hit and we all were playing the hell out of it (I mean well if you were around the big fighter days) and suddenly all this 'mess' started hitting the stores, Street Fighter cheese doodles and fish paties and all else. Now-----what the HELL does cheese-Toes have to do with Street Fighter? but the name was slapped on it, so they were bought for a good while there, so I see Square has and knows the same thing, and is doing it. It is good and bad, Good in most cases, but again this movie, the claymation mess, is not that great...and sometimes bad. FF7 is a great game and story, but Square sooner or later, you have to drop it, really, all the Cloud mess IS too much, I hate Cloud, The Voncent mess, well okay, but otherwise, even I must say this, compared to FF7 even being the RPG wake up call, the a few other FF's in the series were 'better' then FF7. FF3/FF6 the real name was way better, yeah they all were big headed trolls, but it was BETTER then FF7 people. Heck FF8 was even better then FF7...but ehhh as is life.

Well, ONE small note...we 'waitied' damn a few months for this, NOT to be all 'japanese' (something hey I HATE anyway, and most they changed, if anything is the voice overs, that 'reliving FF7 whihc is well crap, shows how awful I will say PSX grapics really are, hell and this was ment to put FF3/FF6 'away' hell they still look like troll popeye people with fat forearms and mess...big heads small bodies---how stupid the game even seems these days and yes I mean it really, well the game not stupid, but these days ewwwwwwww those grapics.

But anyway consider this a crap on as always from 'sony' they ONLY chanegd the voice overs, all that japanese other crap is still in there, just add subtitles, really nice way to imporove the art of creating technology there sony, brovo indeed----sarcasm there, YES.

So really, ehh well something eveyone wants to see, and that shows, but like most, this will end up as a bad review thing otherwise after time. The movie itself Thank GOD they removed the japanese, but all the extra mess, heck they should not have even added that crap at all, it is again like watching an import, which sucks all the same otherwise.

Flat out they fixxed the movie, which is what was waitied for but ignore the other mess, again very very poor and frankly stupid move Sony.... really stupid repackage the mess with ONE disc and without the extra 'carp' the movie alone will still be worth $11.99 *what I paid for it*

Bottom line, really, great movie withotu all that japanese gigger talking, hell I came to the USA and I had to learn english, not japanese, let's all KNOW where we are, great movie 'fixxed' but extras...ehh hell they do blow chunks of thrown up beef.

Maybe Square will finally get the idea that doing a remake of FF7 would make them lots of money... Of course, they'll probably do it anyway, even if they're currently denying it. They've still got FF5 and FF6 to go before it, I suspect.

I read a section in EGM about a year back that they think square will eventually remake FF7. I hope that is how things work out because I would buy it for sure. And I'd like to see some of the stuff that was meant to be there put in. Such as that movie of that flying weapon that crashes to the ground. In the original all you see is it sink to the ground then the screen fades out and then theres a dark spot on the ground. There was supposed to be a CG movie of it dying. Plus they can incorperate the secret characters into the ending CG movies. They didn't have the room to do it in the original.

I took the chance to grab the DVD while it was convinient to, yesterday. It was 20 bucks, has japanese and english audio and subtitles, and has a FF7 recap, which got me to look for a flashback I missed in all the plays through FF7 I did. The retranslation of on-screen text made FF7 make more sense. Haven't looked at the extras disc yet.

Yes I think so to, and 'heard' of a little thing on it talked about by a few 'managers' at a GameStop meeting the other day, not saying it is true now, but with a friend who manages our local GameStop, ehhh well 'one of them' (with like darn 40 around otherwise blahhh) it does have some 'merit'

Well, anyway, again this is the story, not sure it is true, but again, who knows, sounds pretty true, but anyway. Square Enix was called upon by Sony as were well 'all' major third party game makers to be allowed to see what they could do with the PS3 hardware technology, someone at Square thought it would be great to 'hint' at FF7 sense for some odd reason it is said to be the most beloved and popular RPG game (I do not agree, again hell FF3/FF6 is and was much better, but we all know most gammers today did not even get into games til the PSX even so sadl but the mess is true.) So anyway 'again' as Square knows that is what 'made' them, they took a small spoof on FF7 and remade it for the PS3 system, just to 'show' what their future games would be like.

Yes NO remake was ever planned to start with, FF7 was just used because of all the somewhat sickening love for it, so that is what was used. Well when it was shown, Square got what they wanted, but a small bit a little too much of what they wanted too.... people pure went 'Ape-Shit'. (Now Ape-Shit is a term we use around here, and I find most anywhere these days that means that you pure and simple went pure damn crazy over something whatever it is.) And yes this was an Ape-Shit thing if there ever was one, some of those Japanese are just pure ape-shit over games, I mean hey now we are tlaking about people pure damn fainting when they saw the mess.

So after the fainting spells, and the shitting and pissing on themselfs, yes seems that happens alot to when a game is even talked about in Japan and such---odd I know, sometimes people need to rest and have some medication before they have heart attacks, geez, but is life. Anyway after the 'crazy spells' of fainting and such wore off...or even before they did, the 'word' of a FF7 remake was spread through every communicational device all over not only Japan, but the world. (Just picture it---sir, sir I shit myself, but they just annouched remake of FF7!!!!) You know how Japanese business is, if the boss man cannot go himself because his boss is an asshole, he always sends a symbordinate to get the games and news for him, and hell even the symborordinate's are so ape-shit they piss and shit and faint in it all as well.

After the flooding of words by all the cell phones in Japan mostly, Square was like 'ohh shit we started a mess'. (a joke here but some off to the side said sir, do NOT say oh shit, please, they already did that all over our show floor in our booth.... heh)

Well, that is the story, I heard and yes again I believe it because it came from a reliable sorce and otherwise, I have been to Japan a few times, and YES it is really that way over there, video games is mostly the ONLY thing now. Not knocking the place at all now, but that is how it is, I was over there when BloodRayne 2 was 'annoucned' I got to see a showing, and well it was fun, but I did not faint and shit and piss all over myself like a few of those Asian people did, now not 'alot' maybe like 4 in a group of 1000's but still, it did and does draw attention.

We are talking about a place where a Poke'mon cartoon of all things made 'a few' people have seisures....again not sure why, not sure if that is an Asian gene or whatever, but even with their great loves, in Japan, some people seem to have even medical problems with it.

But anyway off of that and to the issue, well that is what I heard happened, Square Enix made a big hole and stepped right into it, so they keep saying what they really meant to do, but ofcorse no one is buying it, for some specialy the Japanese people who shit and piss on themselfs and then fainthed all in it, heck they bet their lives on it and 'demand' it be made now, so much so heck Square of Japan is now even getting death threats, not of anyone who works at the Square companies, but of the people calling and simply saying 'make the remake or I kill myself, life is nothing without FF7 remake'.... so yeah a big hole, so maybe Square will do it, maybe not, if they do not do it, heck will if they hold to their words see some dead Japanese people.

As for if it should be remade for us, well it would be good, heck remakes are becomming sme of the best sellers these days, Resident Evil remake, Metroid Zero Mission, Wild ARMS Alter Code F, and FF7 would be a nice thing, however my thing is how good the 'cheat' devices would be for it, as is right now Sony does not wish cheat devices on the PS3, going the XBox way of life, and maybe I am the only one who shall say it, but I will I'd rather not have the remake, then to have it and not have a cheat device on it and for it. FF7 without all the great cheats codes even the classic one I must say is not all that 'good'---but then again heck, no game is.
